Update on the Tentative Agreement & Ratification Vote |
|
Faculty voted by nearly 80% not to ratify the Tentative Agreement of the new contract during the online vote that was held September 27 - 30.
On Nov. 16th, AFT presented a revised proposal, the District refused to negotiate and the mediator sent the case to fact finding. Read more

AFT 1493 endorses "Occupy Wall Street" movement
 At the November 9 AFT 1493 Executive Committee (E.C.) meeting, the E.C. voted unanimously in favor of a resolution endorsing the Occupy Wall Street movement. See the full resolution below.
